The creation of Friends of Ren Xue International (FRXI) in 2019 spurred a tremendous amount of global growth. As indicated in the chart below (left), 30 grants helped launch newly formed organizations globally. Annual grants made to Ren Xue International (RXI) in New Zealand, the largest grant recipient, led to tremendous innovation and growth (chart below right).
Ren Xue is seeking partners, researchers, and donors as we embark on an exciting, global initiative — the Ren Xue Education program.
This initiative is anchored in 14 global non-profit organizations and supported by more than 600 credentialed teachers, thousands of practitioners, a Language Model housing the Ren Xue corpus, and a living, engaged founder.
The project offers an innovative education model that addresses all stages of life and all aspects of life (body and Qi; mind and heart) in a non-hierarchical learning environment where students, parents, and teachers grow together.
Workshops, retreats, and community gatherings across the global network in 2026 and 2027.

Since 2019, Friends of Ren Xue has invested in the people, organizations, learning resources, technology, and programs that enable Ren Xue to reach people around the world.
The result is not simply a record of projects funded. It is a stronger global ecosystem — and a foundation for what comes next.
The ability of a body of knowledge to benefit people depends ultimately on people who can understand it deeply and communicate it effectively.
This growing teacher community expands access to Ren Xue while creating capacity for new forms of educational development, multilingual learning, international collaboration, and expert human evaluation.
Digital learning has transformed the ability of people around the world to access Ren Xue.
Friends of Ren Xue has supported the development of digital infrastructure, educational resources, and global programming that allow people to participate regardless of where they live.
Online programs have also enabled thousands of people across countries and time zones to learn together.
Since 2019, Friends of Ren Xue has helped support 35 global online events with Yuan Tze, expanding direct access to the founder and his teachings beyond what would have been possible through in-person events alone.

Since its establishment, Friends of Ren Xue has provided grants supporting the development of Ren Xue organizations and shared resources around the world.
We invest in capacity that can continue creating value after an individual grant or project has ended.
Ren Xue is not a single centralized organization.
It is an international ecosystem of independent nonprofit organizations, credentialed teachers, practitioners, programs, and communities connected by a shared body of knowledge and purpose.
Friends of Ren Xue helps strengthen the connective capacity of that ecosystem — supporting projects and resources that can benefit people and organizations across geographic boundaries.
This combination of local initiative and global connection allows knowledge and resources to travel while leaving room for cultural, organizational, and community differences.
Across the Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Oceania.
Much of Friends of Ren Xue’s early work focused on strengthening the foundation: teachers, organizations, learning resources, digital access, and global connectivity.
That investment has created new possibilities.
That combination now provides a foundation for emerging work in areas such as Wisdom-Based Education and Wisdom & AI.
The significance of the earlier investment is therefore not only what it has already accomplished. It is what the capacity created can make possible next.
Reach matters. Participation matters. Organizational growth matters. But the ultimate purpose of this work is human.
Ren Xue is concerned with helping people develop greater awareness, improve their relationships with themselves and others, transform unhealthy patterns, meet life’s challenges more constructively, and cultivate wisdom.
As our work develops, we want our understanding of impact to develop with it. That means moving beyond measures of reach and participation toward increasingly rigorous ways of understanding changes in human development and wellbeing.
For emerging initiatives, evidence and evaluation will be built into the work rather than added afterward.
Friends of Ren Xue is a U.S. 501(c)(3) private foundation committed to responsible governance, careful stewardship of philanthropic resources, and transparency about its work.
